crushing on: c.wonder

I know that I may be seriously late to the C. WONDER party but I have a really good reason. Wanna know what it is? I worked across the street from the SoHo store and witnessed droves of women pouring in and out, lining up, and nearly mauling one another to claw their ways through the big green doors. I’m not one for things of that sort. Ain’t no one got time for that. I’m not throwing ‘bows to pick up some plates, you dig?

Coincidentally, I think all of these also make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts, sans pillow covers. Look at me, getting all your Mother’s Day shopping done. I’m so considerate, aren’t I?

Valentine’s Day is tricky for guys. What do you buy them? Do they really want anything? Do they care? If you’re dating my boyfriend the answer to all of the above is “no”. So what do I do? I’m sneaky about it. This adorable candle holder can double as a catch-all once the candle burns out. These his & her mugs from Jonathan Adler are really cute, and not too “gifty”. Also, this Banana Republic cologne and perfume is so perfect. We’ve been wearing it for weeks and I love it. Better than that? He didn’t even know it was his Valentine’s Day gift.

And as a special treat, I’m over on Drew’s blog today sharing some things that I cannot live without (hint: one lives in my kitchen).

white mountains.

On Christmas Eve all the boys went for a hike. I was going to go, however, it was brought to my attention that this wouldn’t be an exploring type mission but rather a “let’s get extreme” sort of deal. We decided that I’d stay in and relax and I closed my eyes and handed my boyfriend the camera praying it would make it back in one piece. It did. The crisis was adverted.

In total, they were gone for about four hours. I’m no expert, but that’s about thee and a half hours longer than I’d rather be in the wilderness.

Needless to say, I was very impressed with my boyfriend’s photography skillz. Maybe one day he’ll be really good and I can trick him into taking my outfit posts. I believe that’s what they call a pipe dream.

The one picture he took of a human turned out pretty good too! Everyone wish Jared a happy belated birthday!
